Green Works Partners with Jack Johnson

August 16, 2010
Green Works was proud to be featured as a non-profit partner at the Jack Johnson concert in Kansas City. We had a booth at the concert and fifteen pictures of our students and volunteers were shown on the screen between acts. Kate and Valincia got to meet Jack, and many of the attendees got to meet Valincia and hear her talk about her summer internship at the Discovery Center, and her new enthusiasm for native plants. And our friends from Whole Foods provided organic apples for our booth.
